The aim is to mobilize people that are interested in the Union but not necessarily in politics as such. I believe there are many out there that can be mobilized if the right string is puled. So in a way this site a think tank.

I think the need for this action is that this feeling is already present but not yet properly linked to the European Union. The reason is that it is mainly political and the political process is a complicated one because the Union is a mix of regular country and an international organization.

The aim is to have three sections. One is ideas that concern politics, eventually everything is politics, be here we avoid for the time being party politics. If one has a particular idea about the way the EU should be run it must eventually end up on the political agenda to be implemented.
For instance I have an idea about one European Army, not to have bigger army but a smaller one that reduces overlaps and make it more effective.

Another is cultural, I am thinking of a canon of one hundred historical events that every European should know. The idea came from the Dutch canon of 50 historical topics.
The idea is that everyone can name a topic and are added chronologically to the list. Eventually people can vote which topics should be on the list.

And last but not least a section dedicated to every day examples of the we feeling. For instance I watched the BBC during a running race in the 2008 Olympics, the commentator mentioned that there was only one European in the race.

I am looking for enthusiasts all over Europe that can help me.
